Today I’m going to mention who else gets SPD issues and also generally what kinds of folks despite diagnosis’s get them.
I like to think of folks with certain disabilities and the norm in a layered system kinda. In the sense of who’s effected the most buy issues making them the farthest from normal. To those only slightly quirky at times. And everyone in between. And I think at the moment this could help you too to understand some things. So, let’s break this down, shall we? Also, see the image below.
The disabilities mentioned within each layer that weren’t previously mentioned are diagnosis’s others may sometimes have who would especially possibly benefit from some sensory solutions/ knowledge. For a review, they are ADHD, Dyslexic, hyperlexia, hyper insomnia, insomnia, Hypotomia, GI obviously, and I’m sure there are others. People with these issues are far more likely to have or get other problems in life. Same, if it’s in there genes and not detectable.
