The Sickening Truth of Cosmetics

Some of what I’m going to say in this post is extremely disturbing. I feel uncomfortable even stating it. But, will be relieved once it’s out. So, if your having a bad day you MiGht want to come back to it. However, it’s all ( for better or for wOrSe) life changing info too. ¬†

Let’s cut to the chase. Their is less then 1 % of cosmetics that are not toxic and completely sensory friendly, that actually work in the way they claim too. Don’t worry I know them. ! ūüôā The bad news is there are 0 products sold in the US and that I’ve found sold elsewhere ( that means there could be a product avail for example in China that fits this, but, I have no knowledge of it- and I highly doubt it) that is completely sensory friendly and NON toxic completely in every ESSENTIAL cosmetic and household cleaner type. Yes, I’ve looked at cosmetics sold in other countries. Via the internet. And no, English is my ownly fluent language. ¬†The same might likely be true for laundry cleaners. I’ll remind myself of this soon and get back to you with the results if it is actually different in that product area.¬†

¬† ¬†To make things even worse, many cosmetics that aren’t known to be used to kill acne, prevent it, exfoliate (2 of the harshest cosmetic categories below), or keep you safe in the wilderness, have harsh household ingrediants in them at times, or main ingrediants that are used in any or any combo of those 4 other categories. ¬†Do you really want an ingrediant from your bug spray for example in your moisturizer!? I surely don’t! Need a hug yet!? I do!¬†

    What does this mean?

That means, in some of the essential categories below.¬†What is possible, and I will do this in my book. (Among a lot of other things too) Will be recommending products that if they aren’t free of them completely. They will have at most, hopefully only a couple of them. ( I already know all the products, and have already studied all the ingrediant labels). They will all be the most current, healthiest, super sensitive, cosmetic products, ¬†sold in the US. ¬†This should go without saying but, it also means that I have used atleast once, everything I will recommend minus a couple at most. And that NONE ( except for 1/2 and there very mild reactions) of them give me any known sensory problems. And remember, I have numerous very serious sensory issues. I CAN guarantee to you, atleast that.

Essential Cosmetic/drugs types in my mind are the following

Soap/  body washes.

Hair dryer

Sunscreen/ sunblock

Baby products diapers baby wipes pacifiers etc.

Outdoor Protection products like bug spray

Acne killers and protection from it.

Non- essential cosmetics are the following

Most, possibly all Nail care

Serums                 Sprays                        Hair coloring products

Toners.           Uncomfortable headbands     Taning lotion

Gels          Some hair dryers            Perfumes             Cologne

Scented clothing, particularly spa socks         Scented beauty masks

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you

    • sensorysolutions1com May 17, 2014 at 1:10 am

It depends on who you are and if you can give enough time to it. Also, it depends on what your blogging about. As for the technical end of things. It’s not super tuff. Once my subscriber page is up. Subscribe. Then e-mail me reminding me who you are and your comment. you can even copy and paste your above comment, if you want. And I’ll respond to this better. But, if you give me a little more info like your hopeful blog topic and if your on the ASD spectrum, or have LD, or ADHD. And if you work full time, I can advise you far better.

  8. Hi there, You’ve done a great job. I’ll definitely digg it and individually suggest to my friends. I’m sure they will be benefited from this website.

  9. My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs? I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on a number of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome web log!

    • sensorysolutions1com May 14, 2014 at 8:25 pm

That’s awesome! Thanks for telling me. As for guest writers. Your the first to ask, honestly. Do you or your partner have or work closely with anyone with sensory challenges? If so, what kind? And what are the role or roles you or he has it with those individuals? If so, sure! You can submit to me in the near future a post or two for me to consider. It sounds like you may have some sensory issues yourself, correct? As soon as I get my subscription e-mail sign up page up and you get into my auto-responder. You should e-mail me then about guest blogging. I wish my sign up page was already up. But, I’m working towards that. You can reply to this first here, if you prefer. Or also, wait till then and we can e-mail in private. Your choice. But, I’m not sharing my private e-mail address to the world. Look forward to connecting in the near future!

  13. Magnificent beat ! I would like to apprentice whilst you amend your website, how can i subscribe for a weblog site? The account aided me a acceptable deal. I have been a little bit familiar of this your broadcast offered brilliant clear idea

  14. Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

    • sensorysolutions1com May 14, 2014 at 4:56 pm

I edited this response some. I’m on with a private host through IPage. I’ve been using Blog Pad pro app to create my posts on my iPad. It’s pretty good. I’m just learning the blogging technical sides of things. Without paying more then the basic costs, unless you have a private design team certain aspects of working with WordPress with a private host
(Especially one that isn’t known to transfer over too WordPress easily if you stop their service, like I Pages) can be a big pain though. And if you want a mailing list, .coms through Word Press using a different host ( Like I am) and a great free autoresponder. Like mail chimp, can also be a pain too setup too. So, ideally I’d recommend buying a .com domain from someone other then WordPress, and then have a different host, host, your domain(s). And ideally make it a good one. That’s your best option. And is the high class ideal standard. Obviously if you can’t afford that then there are other options. Also, design has a lot to do with your theme/ theme template regardless of which blog platform you use. According to my research for what’s avail in the US WordPress can offer the most design options. That doesn’t mean other companies don’t have better options. It depends on your wants and needs, really. They just have certain options lacking. I’m looking into changing my theme. I already did that, now But, keep in mind, unless you pay 100$ a yr or or more for Word Press Hosting, (Their is a cheaper option) your only going to get free, limited, forum support. Hope that helps!

      • sensorysolutions1com May 15, 2014 at 12:08 am

Once I have an e-mail list if I have the time and you subscribe. And ask, I’ll update you more if you want about my experiences and what I may or may not recommend. Hard to say, other then WordPress. Which by the way, my blog states I use the Blog Pad pro app and WordPress. The app is kinda annoying a little though.

Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

    • sensorysolutions1com May 14, 2014 at 5:18 pm

Images!? I don’t post photos. What are you talking about? Website links? That sometimes, I just provide website addresses for? Not links.
